Edwardian House (1930s) Second Bedroom

This bedroom belongs to an 11 year old boy and I have tried to recreate the room to reflect this! Untidiness rules so heavy duty furniture which does not always match is perfectly OK for this young man!
The bed cover is necessarily thick as there is no fireplace in this room and the "bowl type" electric fire on the floor is the only provider of any heat. The chamber pot is under the bed whilst games and books are strewn over the floor. Clothing is trapped in the wardrobe door and hanging out of drawers and his school scarf is on the back of the chair. A map of the British Empire is pinned to the wall whilst the silver trophy on the bookcase marks some sporting achievement.
His violin and music are left on the bed along with some playing cards. The room is filled with books of the 1930's period including "Billy Bunter" and "Just William" as well as titles from the "Boy's Friend Library" series. A train set is on the floor along with games such as "Bulls and Bears" and "The Ace Football Pool Game". By the chest of drawers are a pair of muddy boots and a football whilst on the wall above are photographs of his favourite teams.
