Vintage Triang No 40 Dolls House
1/16th scale
This Triang (or Tri-ang) No 40 Dolls House dates from the mid to late 1960s although the design goes back to the 1950s.
It was the smallest house available in this series and originally only had one room on each floor but I have added removable card
walls to increase the furnishing possibilities. It has a metal sliding front and is in 1/16th scale.
The bedroom contains a Triang double bed (No 1008), dressing table (No 1023) and bedroom stool (No 1011).
I also want to obtain a Triang wardrobe No 1009.
The bathroom contains a Triang washbasin (No 1016). Eventually I hope to furnish the entire room with other Triang items from their "Swanlyne" bathroom range.
The Living Room contains a Barton fireplace and a cat of unknown make. The rest of the items are made by Triang.
"Bush" television set and table (No 1006), "Philips" radiogram (No 1020), writing desk (No 1021), wing settee (No 1003) and a bookcase with books (No 1005).
The Kitchen contains Brimtoy tin plate items which date from 1955 and some Triang
household steps (No 1033).
